I have painted many battle paintings for the Indian Army for their many Army messes and Defence Institutions, and more recently, the KARGIL Battle paintings for the Army and interestingly for Indian CORPORATE clients. Battle painting are well researched, requiring a good knowledge of military craft, and are based on write ups, photographic references and eye witness accounts.
